Thi is a Computer Science module that aims to create a bridge between
communication as studied in the MA COM programme and web technologies, thereby
enabling students to assess which technology is best suited to support
which type of communication.
The module runs HyFlex on the respective MS Teamsn channel, even though the quality of the video recording may vary depending on the available hardware resources.
International and Ph.D. students are also welcome to join.
Attendance
This is an hands-on computer science module and class/lab attendance is expected throughout the term. The module runs on Term 1 only.
Expected learning outcomes
By the end of the course students will acquire
the ability to critically evaluate and discuss the impact, development
and use of the topics covered during the course.

The institution of the Ombudsman is based on the idea that citizens should be entitled to complain against specific acts and behaviors of their rulers and that their complaints should be investigated by an independent body. In Europe, the establishment of a specific office to investigate citizen complaints against public bureaucracy is relatively recent, having started in Sweden in the early nineteenth century. The UE, too, instituted an Ombudsman in 1993: together with the Court of Justice it is part of a concretely more transparent network of government for the European citizens.
